How You Can Help

You can make a big difference!

BARCS has so many wonderful animals that need new homes. Even a small donation will make a BIG difference! A $50 gift can go towards spaying or neutering a pet. Donations – large and small – can help a young puppy that needs special medication or help a cat get the immediate care that it needs to get adopted.

If you would like to make a donation to BARCS, you can do so in a variety of ways:

Donate by Mail

You can mail a check made payable to BARCS to 301 Stockholm Street Baltimore, MD 21230. Please fill out the BARCS donation form and send with your tax-deductable donation.
 

Donate through the Charity Campaigns

You can donate to the shelter through the Charity Campaigns at work by using BARCS designated numbers:

Recycle for BARCS

You can help BARCS and the environment by collecting and donating used paper products (newspapers, magazines, etc…) at your home, business, or school. It’s easy! Just collect the paper items and place them in the green and yellow recycling dumpster outside of BARCS (no cardboard materials please). Papers placed in this container will be picked up and BARCS will receive a cash donation from Abitibi Corporation. Please download our Paper Retriever flyer for more information.

Donate your vehicle

You can also donate your vehicle and help the shelter. In a cooperative effort between Donation Line and BARCS, your vehicle can be donated to Donation Line, running or not. The donator receives a tax deduction from BARCS. In addition to cars, you can donate any of the following: trucks, vans, boats, motorcycles, jet skis, snowmobiles, RVs, and even airplanes!
