BARCS would like to thank everyone who helped to make BARCStoberfest a huge success!

More than a thousand people came out to support BARCS' biggest fundraiser of the year, helping to raise over $45,000 that will directly benefit the 12,000 homeless animals we receive each year. It was a true community event that drew folks from around the Baltimore area, including Mayor Sheila Dixon, who kicked off the Strut Your Mutt Walk, and City Council President Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.

Participants enjoyed pet contests, including the wildly popular pet costume contest, pet blessings, a fly ball course, silent auction, local artists, pet related vendors, obedience and pet health information, microchipping, and meeting local animal rescues.
